I'm a fan of big discounts, so when group buying sites open a deal. I always take time to look at it. I was happy and excited when I saw a deal for beats tour by Dr. Dre posted in Crazydeals.ph and I was that eager and had to buy it right away. I clicked “buy” so to start the transaction, gave us the information about the process of paying and that the official receipt needs to be scanned and emailed to them so they can send the voucher/claim stub. And so I did all the process, paid it in Unionbank, had the OR pictured perfectly and send it right away. I was waiting for the confirmation the whole day and they never replied, I was thinking that maybe it’s a one day process and I should wait for it tomorrow. Next day came, yet still no reply nor confirmation so I need to initiate and had it followed up, I emailed them again.
After receiving the voucher, we need to wait for a week to claim it on widget city. I planned on getting it by Friday. Friday came so I head to Manila, feeling excited to have it in my hands. I was speaking to Widget City, gave them my voucher, showed them some id’s. They were checking the list and told me that I’m not on it, I was shocked and asked them to try and look for it, so they did. Over and Over, One by One, Line by Line. Still I’m not on the list. Trying it one more time, I explained it to Widget City that we paid it a week ago and told them that I received the voucher 3 days after. They (widget city) told me that they cannot release my item since I’m not listed. Advised me to send Crazydeals an email to reconfirm so Crazydeals can call them (widget city) and have it confirmed, They (widget city) told me they had a customer who had the same issue and asked the person to do the same and was resolved same day when Crazydeals called them after the customer emailed Crazydeals. Widget told me that some customers received vouchers from crazydeals but did not paid for it and some paid for the item but did not received any voucher or not on the list—like me. Devastated, I followed their advice.
I emailed Crazydeals, they called me and told me that they would check for it and will call Widget as soon as possible. I thought of ‘As soon as possible’ is like after we hung up the phone, they’ll call Widget right away. I decided to wait for 30 minutes downstairs, at the lobby and went back to the 18th floor to claim. Checking back, asked them if they received a call already, to my surprise, they still haven’t got a call from crazydeals!! I told them that I just got off the phone with them (crazydeals) and they told me that they will call you (widget) right away. And still no calls!! Wtf is wrong with them! I told widget that Crazydeals told me that what they have send to Widget is not an updated list, I’ve paid a week ago so I’m not yet on the updated list. OK! So the list is not yet updated on the day of the claiming of items!! WOW crazydeals, what kind of business is that? You are telling your customers that they can claim the items on the said date and there and then, on that date, on that place, showing up with vouchers—meaning PAID, that they cannot claim the items because your list is not updated!! That’s BULLSHIT!!! Ok so widget explained it to me, and handed me the list saying, here’s the list that crazydeals send us earlier this morning, and here is the updated one, they send just awhile ago. OK, f@#$ I gave up, coz it’s already 6pm and I know I have to settle it on another day.
Just to be sure because I don’t want to go back to manila and go home again empty handed, I followed up again. Sunday, I emailed Crazydeals. I told them, to email me if they already send Widget the updated list and if I’m on it so I could go back and claim. No reply! Ok, I know, I understand, it’s Sunday. I’m losing my cool coz I just need to have what I paid for. Monday came, still no reply! I have to gamble, thinking maybe they already updated it since it’s already Monday afternoon. So I headed back to Manila, onto Widget City, presented the voucher, reminded them I was the one who tried to claim last Friday. They checked for my name, and again, VOILA! Still not on the list!! That’s so fucking unfair Crazydeals!!! Y’all Crazy!!! Seriously, you need to get a life!!!! I need to gather myself, I’m losing my cool. Widget told me again to follow up by emailing again, I asked if they can try and contact Crazydeals. They told me that the contacts they have is just for the promo department of crazydeals not the department for the claiming or the list of who paid. That sounds really good! Crazydeals, just have their number for promos but not for follow up. That’s BUSINESS!!! So no one from you can hear feedbacks!!! So widget can’t do anything since Crazydeals told them that the process if not on the list is make the customer email them and they will just call Widget city. OK, that’s what you call process!!!!! Trying to stay cool, I called back the number, explained that it’s my NTH time to be in widget and they told me if they can speak to martin, head of widget. But Mr. Martin is not there so I just handed the phone to his assistant, they talked and after that they gave me my item. So that’s effin’ hard. That’s the process!! I was so mad!! Widget also apologized, and I understand that they can’t release the item because they need the voucher, they will not be paid correctly. Widget even told me that earlier someone is claiming their items and they paid for 7 vouchers, but they’re not on the list as well! Ok, lemme repeat, that’s S-E-V-E-N!! SEVEN vouchers CRAZYDEALS!! And they are not on your fucking list!!! Imagine the hassle you give to your customers! Poor them, Imagine their reactions!! And what did the customer did? Followed your PROCESS!!!!! I know it’s not Widget City’s fault, I had business with Widget a week before Crazydeals partnered with them. And that’s with Cash Cash Pinoy!! Smooth sailing business with Cash Cash and Widget!! So I know it’s your fault!! I told Widget not to pair up with you! Widget even told me that when you send them the list, it’s not only incomplete, it’s even not alphabetical!! What a shame! Cash Cash Pinoy send their list to Widget arranged and complete!
Well anyway, I will never purchase anything from you Crazydeals!! Bad business!!!
